Abu Bakarr Turay
Co-founder & Cybersecurity Analyst
Abu Bakarr is the technical force behind Crescent. Certified by the United Kingdom's National Cyber Security Centre (UK NCSC), he brings a rare combination of cybersecurity expertise and hands-on engineering ability. He has led penetration testing engagements for government agencies, architected multi-tenant SaaS platforms from scratch, and built the digital systems that turned a loss-making transport company into a profitable operation. At Crescent, he oversees everything that ships — from secure cloud infrastructure and full-stack product development to vulnerability assessments and compliance audits. His philosophy is simple: build for the real world, not the whiteboard. Every system he delivers is designed to work under the actual conditions organisations face — not just the ideal ones.

Co-founder & Data Scientist
Ibrahim is the mind behind Crescent's data intelligence practice. He takes messy, fragmented organisational data and turns it into clarity — the kind that changes how leaders make decisions. With deep expertise in applied statistics, machine learning, and data engineering, he has built end-to-end analytics pipelines, designed executive dashboard suites for major clients, and developed the frameworks that power Crescent's business intelligence offerings. What sets Ibrahim apart is his ability to translate between two worlds: he speaks the language of data science fluently, but he thinks like a strategist. Every insight he surfaces is built to be understood, trusted, and acted on. He believes that when data is collected responsibly and presented honestly, it has the power to reshape how organisations serve the people who depend on them.
